Personnel of Central Jakarta Water Resources Sub-agency has completed the dredging of connecting channel on Jalan Karet Pasar Baru Timur V RW 09, Karet Tengsin, Tanah Abang.

Tanah Abang District's Water Resources Unit Head, Eli Menawan Sari, said the drainage of the 150 meter long and 120 centimeter wide channel was carried out by six 'Blue Troop' personnel since August 13.

Meanwhile, Hasan (45), one of local residents, appreciated the personnel's response in handling the inundation during the heavy rain.
"Now the water enters the channel quickly," he admitted.
